Below is the test Twitter feed. The available options are:
- Type of feed: Profile, which is shown here; Profile +Replies, which is probably a bad idea since you don't control replies; or "Faves"
- The number of past items
to show, currently set at 3.
Once we know where we want this feed, I'll explore whether we can constrain its height so it doesn't mess with the page layout.
The font size
automatically adapts to the column width, which is now at the minimum. Font size doesn't seem to be otherwise controllable.
Below are two versions of the test Facebook feed. There are a lot of options, which is why I'm showing two examples:
- Large header on or off. Large header is currently On in both versions If turned off, it eliminates the bottom half of the header and the "Donate" button. I'd say we keep the "Donate" button on.
- Cover Photo on/off: Currently On in the left version, Off in the right -- so , only the "25" logo and the name of the club shows.
- Friends' faces on/off: I'm not sure what this does. Currently On in the left, Off in the right.
- Tabs: the Timeline, Events, and Messages tabs can be individually turned off. Right now, I've turned Off the empty "Messages" tab in the right version.
- The widget width can be manually set between 300 pixels (on the left) and 500 pixels (on the right). Graphics scale automatically.
- The height of the widget
can also be set. Since the Facebook widget has a scroll bar at the right, you can always scroll through any number of past postings. The widget height value simple sets the size of the scrollable window. Right now it's shown at 800
pixels on the left, 1500
pixels on the right.
