"Great Futures Start Here"
The Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley (BGCAV) was established in 1969 and opened its current building in 1980. It weathered financial difficulties in the mid-1990s, closing in 1995 and re-opening in 1998. BGCAV has 500 members, and works with 700 to 900 children a year in a variety of programs. Having experienced success and growth in the thirteen years since our re-opening, we are continually striving to reach more children and engage them in ways that will help them learn and grow throughout their journey from childhood and adolescence into adulthood.
The Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley serves the towns of Maynard, Stow, Concord, Acton, Sudbury and Bolton and has actively sought to enrich the lives of youth whom other agencies have had difficulty reaching. The Club is the only youth organization in the area and has been at the forefront of youth development, working with young people from disadvantaged, economic, social and family situations.

Kirk Dental located in Sudbury is volunteering their time to give members of the Club the opportunity to get a FREE dental exam, cleanings, fluoride, x-rays, sealants and fillings. The Club will transport members to and from Kirk Dental. To sign up, please e-mail bishop@bgcav.org.

Mission Youth Outreach for Military Youth
The Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley opens their doors to youth from military families. Just present your completed enrollment form and your membership fee will be waived.

We need your help!! The Boys & Girls Club in coordination with the Maynard Public Schools is researching the possibility of providing transportation from the Green Meadow School to the Club.

Everyday, the Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley strives to improve each child's life by implementing self-esteem, courage, and positive values through all of the educational programs. Our youth come to the Boys & Girls Club to receive tutoring, computer training, sports education, homework help, and mentoring. Our youth gain confidence by developing a sense of usefulness and belonging.
