The Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley is a unique organization serving Maynard, Stow, Concord, Acton, Bolton and Sudbury. Our goal is to provide every child with the essential tools needed for a successful and bright future. Since 1971, the vision of Boys & Girls Clubs has grown and changed with the needs of our children. As the needs of our children and their families continue to change, so will the dynamics of our programs and services.
Everyday, the Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley strives to improve each child's life by implementing self-esteem, courage, and positive values through all of the educational programs. Our youth come to the Boys & Girls Club to receive tutoring, computer training, sports education, homework help, and mentoring. Our youth gain confidence by developing a sense of usefulness and belonging. Service to Youth Awards
It's time for our most important event of the year! The Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley in Maynard is proud to host its 9th Annual Service to Youth Awards Reception. Join us in honoring: ▪ JoJo White, Celtics legend, with our Youth Service Award ▪ Nicole Tyler as our Youth of the Year Join us for an evening of dinner, celebration, and fun! Enjoy our full dinner, cash bar, auction/raffle prizes, and receive photographs with our honored guests! Sponsorship opportunities are available.
Admission to the event is free, so if you would like to attend and meet our guests by providing a donation, please contact the Boys & Girls Club to receive a complimentary admission ticket (this helps us track attendance and a headcount for the event): ask for John Mason, Executive Director, at 978-461-2871.
The Service to Youth Awards reception will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2010 at JoJo's West in Maynard. Dinner and cocktails will be served from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM followed by the awards ceremony, auction/raffle prizes, and the opportunity to meet our honored guests.
5th Annual
Boys & Girls Club 8th Grade Semi Formal
The Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley is proud to announce our 5th Annual 8th Grade Semi Formal Dance. The event will take place on Friday, April 2nd from 6:30-10:30. The location is at the Rod & Gun Club.
DJ Brett Oochcunis, an interactive DJ, will be coming to Maynard to spice up this event like no one else can. For more information about Brett, check out www.oochworld.com.
Event Information:
Tickets are $25/per person.
Tickets can be purchased at the Boys & Girls Club beginning Monday, February 22th.
No re-entry allowed. Once students have entered the dance, the only way they may leave is if a parent comes inside to get them.
Appetizers & Desserts will be served.
Fowler School 8th Graders ONLY.
Must be in good standing with the Fowler School to participate.
