To Support the

Boys & Girls Club

of Assabet Valley

Choose any time between October 4 & 18 to do your route.

*This goal is just an example. Pick any amount you like!

How to join us:

1: Choose a Course

This is very flexible. You can even choose a loop in your own neighborhood. Here are a few ideas just in case:

  • Use the maps below to do a loop that ends at the Club so you can take a photo!
  • Do a loop (or more) around the high school track. 1 loop is .25 mile.
  • The Assabet River Rail Trail: From White Pond Road to the South Acton station is 3.2 miles.

Sample Fundraising Language

Fundraiser Title or email subject line: “The [family name] kids are raising money for the Boys and Girls Club of Assabet Valley

Why are you raising money:

My child is participating in a virtual ride-bike-or-run event to support Boys and Girls Club of Assabet Valley.

Each participant will make their individual race route, set their own race time and go the distance on their own over the next two weeks. All remote from other kids, staying safe but still competing.

We are asking for your support of $____ to help us raise our goal of $____ for the club. Whether you donate $5 or $500, every little bit helps.

The BGCAV is such an important cornerstone in our community and we want to do what it takes to support them.

Some examples of what the club will be doing with your donations.

  • $25 pays for a Staff Member to become Red Cross CPR certified
  • $80 pays for an annual Club membership for one child
  • $120 pays for all Early Release Days for one child

EXAMPLE GOAL [Our goal is to raise at least $250 which will cover the cost for 3 children to be club members for the year.]
