2024 Summer Adventures: Grades K-1

This popular program is created to meet the summer needs of our youngest members. Children to explore a variety of developmentally appropriate activities and to establish new friendships.  The schedule tracks with the Summer Full Day program.

Registration will open Monday, March 4th @ 10:00 am
Ages: Kindergarten & 1st Grade (For Fall of 2024 & Must be 5 years old)
Calendar: Summer weekdays,
8 AM - 4 PM (Late Pickup available)

Pre-registration is required for all programs and add-ons. 
Daily in-club drop-ins will be accommodated if space is available. 

Plan Now for an Awesome Summer

Customized Program
Your child will enjoy the perfect blend of structured and unstructured time!  Included in this program are theme days, special visitors and events, cooperative games and sports, art, music/drama and one (optional) field trip per week. We cater our programming to meet the needs of every child that attends.

Lasting Friendships
Our summer program emphasizes community-building, social development, and positive relationships.

Participants are broken up into groups by grade. However, we want all children to succeed in our program and can be flexible with these groups based on children's friends.

Nurturing Staff
Our experienced, enthusiastic, caring staff take the time to invest in our members. Additional supervision is provided by our teen Counselors in Training, many of whom have grown up in these very same programs.
Morning Meetings
  • Meet your Counselors, CITs, and other kids in your group at the start of each day.
  • Go over the theme of the week, dress-up days, and weekly events: swimming, tennis, ice cream, & field trips.
  • Review Club Rules & Club Buck Rules
  • Review Social Skills:
    • How to be a good friend.
    • What to do when someone is bothering you: No-Go-Tell Strategy.
    • How to ask an adult for help.

Essentials

BGCAV Membership Form *NEW* 

All participants must have a completed BGCAV Membership Form.  Please print this out and submit with your registration.


BGCAV Policies and Procedures Agreement Form *NEW*

In order to participate, paretns/guardians must complete a BGCAV Policies and Procedures Agreement Form


Special Accommodations:

Please notify staff immediately, if your child has an IEP, 504, behavior plan, or any additional accommodations that your child may require. In order to support your child appropriately, we require that any and all accommodations be communicated with Club Directors before the start of the program. Late Pickup

Pickup is available between 4 and 5 PM for an additional $25 fee per week.  See policies and procedures regarding late pickups.


What to Bring

All participants must bring a bagged nut-free lunch, 2 snacks, and plenty to drink!

$10 fee includes all needed project materials.

Kona Ice: 
Cost: Participants must bring a minimum of $3 to get a frozen ice. Prices vary depending on the item selected, running between $3 and $5.

Eriksons Ice Cream: 
Members will need to bring $5.00 in order to get an ice cream from our favorite local ice cream shop!
