The Boys and Girls Club of Assabet Valley seeks candidates for several positions at the Club’s after school and Summer Programs. Applicants must be enthusiastic, creative, industrious, responsible, punctual, and resourceful and have a genuine passion for working with children.

After School Program Staff
The Boys and Girls Club of Assabet Valley is seeking energetic candidates for an after school program staff position for the Beyond the Bell Boys and Girls Club after school program. Beyond the Bell is an after school drop in program servicing students in Grades K-8. 

This position is responsible for facilitating, organizing and overseeing activities for school age children of all ages and learning abilities in the club areas such as the gym, game room, technology center, homework room and play room. Specialized skills in organizing sports, games and other activities desired. Candidates must be able to work well with all age groups.  

Experience working with school age children is preferred, but willing to train candidates who possess a positive, upbeat attitude, desire to learn and a passion for working with children. First Aid and CPR certification (or ability to obtain such certifications) is preferred. The ability to be a team player is a must. Candidates must be willing to submit to an all criminal (CORI)) background check. 
This is a part time position and the scheduled work days can be flexible, however candidates should be able to work a minimum of 2 days a week (M – F) 2:00-6:00 p.m. Optional additional hours will be available on Maynard Early release days and for programs which run during school vacation periods.
