"Great Futures Start Here"
The Mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley is to promote the growth of young people in our community by empowering them to become productive, caring, responsible citizens.

In every community, boys and girls are left to find their own recreation and companionship in the streets. An increasing number of children are at home with no adult care or supervision. Young people need to know that someone cares about them. The Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley offers that and more. Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. We are proud to keep our annual membership fee to a low $40 per child with no child ever being turned away because of their inability to pay.

The Boys & Girls Club of Assabet Valley, Inc. has been serving children in the Maynard, Stow, Concord, Acton and Sudbury area for over 40 years. Since 1971, we have been providing a safe place for young people to develop their educational, social, recreational and cultural abilities. The Club has adapted its programs to meet the ever-changing needs of the children, teenagers, and families in its community. We annually serve over 1,800 young people across our communities. Positioning our organization to plan for future growth and sustain the current operations will be a key to continued long-term success.
